We Are Looking for a Property Maintenance Guy
Position: Building Maintenance Technician / Handyman
Schedule: Part-Time / Full-Time / As Needed
Seeking a dependable, experienced Building Maintenance Technician / Handyman to assist with general maintenance and repairs at residential and commercial properties.
We are looking for a “jack of all trades” who is comfortable handling a wide variety of property maintenance tasks and can troubleshoot problems, complete repairs efficiently, and work independently.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should:
- Have experience in general construction, building maintenance, property maintenance, or handyman work
- Have working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs
- Be able to troubleshoot and solve common property maintenance issues
- Be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Be comfortable working independently
- Communicate clearly with property management and tenants
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be able to safely use common hand and power tools
- Be physically capable of performing typical maintenance work, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working indoors and outdoors
Schedule
This is a part-time, as-needed position. Hours will vary depending on maintenance requests, property needs, turnovers, and ongoing projects.
This position may be a good fit for an experienced tradesperson, semi-retired contractor, handyman, or maintenance professional looking for flexible additional work.
Compensation will be discussed.
